It depends on where the air is pumped in from. Too often, the blower is 
down in the deep dark dank dungeon where the organist doesn't have to 
listen to it, blowing the worst atmospheric conditions in the building 
through the organ. If the blower intake is in the same room (or same air 
circulation) as the organ, it won't affect anything but the organist's 
temperament.
