Its always worth the effort Jim. But I doubt you will get uniformity.  I 
know of 3 different major standards in use today. Vienna Symphony uses 
444. Much of Europe uses either 444 or 442 (mostly 442)  Some over here 
use 440 but that is mostly when some American Jazz group (go figure) 
shows up... the classical acts normally accept 442 if its first whats 
usual here.  America by and large tunes 440.  How you are going to get 
agreement from all parts is beyond me... but it sure would be nice.

I tune at 441 for several of my venues simply because its a happy enough 
middle point between 442 and 440 that I can get away with it in most 
every instance.  Rarely do I have a problem with that.

In anycase... you have my vote ... fwiw ... :)
