Jon, I have a customer with a Steinway C. It is one of the finest pianos I have ever tuned. It is over ten years old but the first owner rarely played it. One of our faculty bought it last fall and I absolutely love it. It's not at the school here though so I can't speak to how it would react to being beaten to death. Chris -- Christopher D.
