words technical w/piano question

It's funny that this subject should come up now--did anyone get the recent
flyer from QRS featuring the "Bob Eliminator"?  (Bob is apparently the guy
who typically muscles the piano down to the skid when the lyre is removed).
It's an expandable brace that goes between lyre and right leg mount area so
the lyre can function as a kind of tilter without danger of breakage.  We've
been using this method here for years and years--never broken a lyre yet.
Of course the addition of the rocker like arrangement mentioned in Ed S.'s
post makes things extremely easy.
