old and new temperaments

Hello everybody-
My belief is that it all really goes by the way side (what 
temperament to use when) because back in the day of those composers, 
the instruments they used were a bit different than now.  I say great 
when using WTs on "historical instruments", but it is not the same 
when used on modern ones.
