Dear Friends:
2500 years of temperament history should be enough to teach us that =
differences of opinion about temperaments cannot be settled by argument. =
Not to mention 6 years of history on the Pianotech List.
As a refugee from Pianotech, I would request that we just report our =
temperament experiments, read about others temperament experiments with =
interest, without feeling forced to agree, or feeling we must force =
others to conform to our opinions, or ridiculing those we don't agree =
with.
More bluntly, I am saying let us not act like a bunch of tuners =
fighting over temperaments. There is a place for it, called Pianotech.
    In my humble opinion.
Thank you, and forgive me if I offend you.
        Ed Sutton
