Steinway Parts Delays?

Hi Stephen,
Another thing that will cause this is if your damper timing is a little 
slow, but let-off is close, the hammers will catch the damper felt 
before it can clear the string.  Making sure the dampers are well 
trimmed is important to help prevent this.
