John,

The guy who owns the Metropolitan Piano Gallery in Minneapolis (actually,
Oakdale), MN picked up a good deal of the detritus and, as of two years
ago, still had most of it in storage. When I saw it, he had 3 dozen +/-
shells for various models, nearly as many plates and a few more boards; a
number of actions and/or key-sets in partial completion. Unfortunately, I
cannot remember the owner's name and my contact there died last July.

Based on what I saw, this person got the leavings after others had picked
up the stuff that was more immediately salable. So, he has a bunch of
truly kit pianos; out of which he may, eventually, be able to construct 18
or so and have some very odd-lot leftovers.

The address of the Oakdale store is:

7006 6th Street North
Oakdale, MN 55128

Hmmm...Let's see....yes...

Phone: 800.379.0822

Hope this is of some service.

Best.

Horace
