Ron- Yes! This happened to me 3 weeks ago. I had just said to the teacher "Stick around. You're going to love the change I can make in this piano in 3 minutes." And the midrange of the damper stop rail warped down so far the hammers wouldn't even let off! Would anyone dare to enter "Steinway back check" in the archive search engine?
