Newton and I go back a long time, I visited Newton and the family when = they were in Dallas, later Newton came up here and spent a week with us = on a number of occasions. He was always a very considerate guest and so = nice to be with, I think he had something rare, he had nobility of = character. He was generous: with his time and with his money, too. We = talked on the phone often and about many topics ranging from pianos to = relationships, politics, philosophy and all kinds of others.
