Key bushing question

Hi Tom,

I only had a similar problem with one piano. At Rutgers I rebushed about 30
keyboard.

What I did different from you is:

I got my cloth from American, their extra quality.
I polished the pins with Flitz, front and center.
I only used Glide-All teflon powder dry lubricant.
I lubed the pins AND the bushings.

I have also used felt from Schaff.

I don't think there is an interaction with the Flitz since I have been using it
for 25 or so and I know there is no interaction with Glide-All since I have been
using it for the same period.

So, that leaves McLube, Renner cloth and Protek. I have used Protek and McLube
although I prefer my materials above so that leaves the cloth.

Ok, you know which pianos get how much wear. Try American cloth, Glide-All and
Flitz and see if you get the same effects over the next year or so.

Try it, you'll like it. :)
