Hi Tom, I only had a similar problem with one piano. At Rutgers I rebushed about 30 keyboard. What I did different from you is: I got my cloth from American, their extra quality. I polished the pins with Flitz, front and center. I only used Glide-All teflon powder dry lubricant. I lubed the pins AND the bushings. I have also used felt from Schaff. I don't think there is an interaction with the Flitz since I have been using it for 25 or so and I know there is no interaction with Glide-All since I have been using it for the same period. So, that leaves McLube, Renner cloth and Protek. I have used Protek and McLube although I prefer my materials above so that leaves the cloth. Ok, you know which pianos get how much wear. Try American cloth, Glide-All and Flitz and see if you get the same effects over the next year or so. Try it, you'll like it. :) Newton
