I could have been a bit more specific--the glue referred to was thinned out white glue--just the plain Elmer's stuff. I made it thin enough so it would seep back between the bushing and the wood. The mix was somewhere around 3:1 to 5:1or so, I don't remember exactly. It maintained considerable resilience which was what I wanted. I've heard tell CA also works, but I've not tried it. Del
