Hi Richard,

Actually what keeps showing up in the unscientific and scientific
studies is there is both an increase in sustain and power. When I
first asked Michael Wathen for some of the specifics of Bob Coleman's
work he said "there's nothing new we don't already know". I convinced
him that is important. Bob has been confirming what he could feel and
hear: there is more power and sustain. Everyone who has been doing
installations can confirm this by shear experience, no science, no data
to back them up.

I will be presenting some of the new material Bob Coleman has given us
this next Friday at the Central West Regional Seminar in Rochester, MN.
What the material shows is there is no loss of power, an increase of
sustain, better definition of existing modes, and additional modes that
weren't present in the non Wapin string. This is all very complex and
not for me to figure out why. Bob hears it and is trying to figure out
why.

So, what I'm trying to say is I don't believe a Wapin string is robbing
or spreading out some of the power to increase the sustain.

And thanks for the "cheers" today, as it was dark and gloomy early in
the morning.
