Greetings, Don and Roger,

Thanks very much. Any idea who might have been tuning at Manta during that
period? I've got a bee in my bonnet about some work done in (roughly) '74-'75.

At 08:00 PM 1/27/01 -0600, Roger you wrote:

Boy! Ain't that the truth. Having spend a fair amount of time as the "Wise
man from LA", it is a really hard walk to take. Rather like sliding down a
razor blade. You have to assume that you can assume nothing, and then,
maybe, you have some chance for figuring out whatever might/might not be
going on. Most humbling about one's own abilities.

I join your grin also in part because Tom was one of John Perry's favorite
technicians...and can imagine that you have found some, err, ah,
interesting solutions for different problems/issues.

Thanks again, guys!

Best to all.

Horace
