Since its just the top octave, can you get any more zing by nudging the
strike point  a hair?  Harmless, and easy to undo.  Slightly unrelated, but
maybe useful, how about a 'reflective panel' (clear plexiglas?) to project
the under soundboard sound...Go ahead and be an innovator!
