This is an interesting idea, Keith. Perhaps it would be better, if harder,
to angle the pieces, so that they make diagonals. Triangles are far more
stable than rectangles. Two fasteners at each intersection with the backposts
would be better than one, I think. Are "one-bys" thick enough?
