This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Dear List, I have come upon an old Henry Miller Grand at Greenville College = with a strange sostenuto(strange to me). There is a row of thick red = felts hanging down from a spring under each of the underlevers and the = free end has a small block of wood glued to the felt. Only about three = of them actually work and I cannot figure out why they do and the rest = don't. Most of them just push back away from the rod. I should mention = that the few that work don't work properly, they always lift the damper = regardless of whether the note is played or not. Anybody got a clue? = Richard Murphy, RPT,SIUE ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
