List,

Below is a replacement class for Jim Coleman,Sr., Strictly Aural Tuning,
first period
Sunday, July 9:

Title: New Features of the Sanderson Accu-Tuner III

Instructors: Al and Paul Sanderson, Inventronics, Inc.

Description: The Sanderson Accu-Tuner III has many new features to make your
work easier and faster. The most popular is Auto-Stepping, where playing the
next note takes you to that note. Double-Octave Beat lets you adjust the
width of the double octaves (if your ear requires) on the fly during a
tuning. Non-equal temperaments are a breeze with 14 available by simple
selection to add to an FAC or other stored tuning. Tuning with an aural
sequence for training or aural checking as you go is easy, with room for
four 88-note sequences on board. More than a dozen other new features will
be described and demonstrated as well. Questions welcome as always.

Please note the message from Jim to me below which is resent with his
permission.

Best,
Dale

<<<Hi Dale:

With much regret I must bow out of the teaching responsibilities for
this year. I would recommend that if possible Rick Baldassin take over
the one class which I was to do solo. He did a great job covering for me
at the Calif State thing just 4 days after I came down with this disease.
Dr Sanderson may elect someone else to assist him if he chooses. I would
also like to have helped in the tuning-testing area.

I taught a class last nite here at my home. It was received OK, and I
felt good about it, but the logistics of getting around at the Convention
are still more than my wife or I could handle at this time. I am making
improvements on a weekly basis, but it is slower than I had hoped a
month ago. I still have little control of hands and feet, but it is
coming along very slowly. Perhaps in another 2 months I could handle
something like this.

I would at this time love to volunteer for a class or classes next year
if you can find it your tender little ole heart to forgive this one
trespass.

BTW, you are doing a great job in promoting Arlington. I'm sure going to
miss the Smithsonian and many of the other wonderful things you and your
crew have prepared for us.
