Hi all, Thought this might be of interest. This piano has been tuned six months ago and three months ago (at which time the coils were tapped). Chang G-185 measured with Reyburn Cyber tuner before tapping a0 0.41 a1 4.33 a2 -0.24 a3 -1.04 a4 0.72 a5 -1.71 a6 5.86 a7 2.37 After tapping a0 -3.17 a1 -11.74 a2 -5.10 a3 -3.75 a4 -4.02 a5 -18.91 a6 -18.93 a7 -22.46 Strings were tapped at hitch pin, both sides of tail end double scaling and at bridge tap.pin.tap tap tap.pin tap. I started on the sounding side of the top string and made a u turn to end up on the sounding side of the next lower string, except for the bass strings where I tapped at the hitch pin and ended at the sounding length. Total time to do the tapping about one hour. Regards, Don Rose, B.Mus., A.M.U.S., A.MUS., R.M.T., R.P.T.
