We don't really have a "standard" size now but the range from 48" to 48.5" is not that wide so there is sort of a de facto standard. I really think the new size should be somewhat standardized. If this concept flies, many or even most concert venues could have an alternate keyboard. If all these alternate keyboards are of varying sizes, it would be difficult for artists. If, however, there were a "standard" say 42" (truly 7/8) then adjusting to different pianos in different locations would be simplified for the artists. dave _______________________________________________ David M.
