CAUT Technical Class
Title - Building and fitting a second action for a concert grand
Instructor - Ken Sloane, Oberlin

Description
Ken will have a slide presentation showing the construction of a second
action for a Steinway "D". Actions are interchanged in a matter of
minutes and are voiced differently (one bright, one dark) so that
different voicing needs can be served from the same piano. Though the
action is made to solve a voicing problem, the class is not really about
voicing but about action assembly and fitting.
