   Glad you figured it out.

   So you're saying that the refurbished wippens were OK with the other
old parts, but not with the new? With the new Renner shanks, you also
needed the new Renner wippens?
   I have a 70's S & S 'L' teflon type in the shop that I'm getting ready
to redo but I *am* using all Renner USA parts, including wippens. Just
curious.
