I have used them on a St L #297039 that also got a new board.  Would you be
using them mainly because of weight?  I think Ronsons or Light Renner Blues
would be better. I have thought the Pacific Golds made the bass sound
somewhat thin, but I haven't done any experimenting replacing one or two
hammers with something else.  Can't seem to make any difference there
voicing-wise in the bass section. Also, they must be voiced down on a
regular basis, but they're wearing well.  They definitely are light,
probably a little lighter than the Renner lights are light.
