I have used them on a St L #297039 that also got a new board. Would you be using them mainly because of weight? I think Ronsons or Light Renner Blues would be better. I have thought the Pacific Golds made the bass sound somewhat thin, but I haven't done any experimenting replacing one or two hammers with something else. Can't seem to make any difference there voicing-wise in the bass section. Also, they must be voiced down on a regular basis, but they're wearing well. They definitely are light, probably a little lighter than the Renner lights are light.
