We have placed a few new items on our Wapin page of general interest. For example: Longit.wav is a sound recording of six tones, all note G1, but played on strings with different longitudinal mode frequencies. It demostrates the justification for one of Baldwin's patents from the inventor Harold Conklin, Jr. whereby the method for wrapping strings in a controlled manner can effectively tune these longitudinal modes is taught.
