Vince, I don't think that it was that late... I'd suggest calling Michael Mohr at the factory for the official date. It seems to me that the date would have been earlier, maybe even in the late teens. Perhaps some German manufacture later. In any event, a superior action - from a musician's point of view; but rather like the old Wessell, Nickel & Gross as far as getting things well regulated and keeping them there.
