Why do you sorely appreciate? I don't think I would feel that way. Yes, the special drill bit is well worth the price. It drills the hole to the right depth, counter sink and diameter for the type of wood generally found on action rails. You will use this same drill for replacing wooden hammer flange rails found on most pianos. You also should purchase the gram guage which is quite expensive. If you are not willing to use this tool then I would suggest you abandon the project. Mr. Meyer also supplies a booklet that tells exactly what to do which was written by Chris Robinson. Also, do I really need to spend $39.00 for a *special* drill >for this job. > >Any help is sorely and greatly appreciated. > >Regards, >Paul > >Paul Kupelian, RPT >Tyler Hall >SUNY Oswego >Oswego, NY 13126 >kupelian@oswego.edu > > >
