Don & Dave, Just wanted to add that Bill Spurlock has a method for doing leather bushings which he describes much better than I do - so I'll let him. (It may have been in a Journal article.) Basically, use of judicious stripping, and thinning with a drill press mounted drum sander produces highly consistent results. Others seem to have different experience, but I like the longevity and stability of leather. Best.
